Using Computers
Today in DF it was really fun! I completed like 2 of the assessment so it was a really productive lesson which was so good. I did the Clock and the Cart Wheel. It was really frustrating though because I was nearly finished doing the Cart Wheel but I did something wrong so it wouldn't let me extrude the last features :( It was okay though because I did it before I sped through it really fast and it was really good because it made me remember which things to do for what. Today was good :)

Pro Desktop
Today in Design and Technology we used pro desktop. I was really concerned going into this that I wouldn't remember how to do anything, but surprisingly, I did! Us girls who were here last term grabbed a work book and started going through the tasks. We had to design a block with letters all on the out side and extruded in. It looked like a baby's toy! I'm really happy with the result because everything came flashing back and I am now much more comfortable. Can't wait for more lessons :)

Drawings
Today Isabella and I finally finished drawing our project. we have both been away for a couple of lessons so we are trying really hard to catch up! our idea is awesome. we are going to have a ski resort in aspen with about 5-6 wood houses with energy efficient heating. We have an igloo kids club and a huge water tank that collects snow an turns it into water which is pumped through the whole resort. It is going to turn out amazing!

Base.
Today we made our base of our architectural design. First we had to get 4 longs skinny wood pieces and one big square based wood. We had to measure 10mm on each side and draw a line to guide us for the nails. We then had to put 3 nails in each side only enough so it goes in steadily but NOT all the way through. Then we got one of the blocks, glued it on the other side and hammered it all the way through. After this was completed it was done with each side. Then we took it over to the bandsaw and cut off all sticking out pieces then sanded it off. It was a very fun and eventful lesson.
